Well, I HAD stopped wailing. It takes a lot out of a girl, ya know? But after reading this I just might start again. Except this time I'll just do it in my head. Easier on the ol' vocal chords that way...

You spin a fantastic story. Thanks for continuing to share your talent with us. Write on!

Urn of Osiris: Thanks for the update, I hated that Tara couldn't find Willow and Abbey, please let her find them. Donnie is such a bastard, I can't wait till he gets whats coming to him. Please let everything be OK. I can't wait to read more.

Poor Tara, her girls missing she uses her magic to find them and is greeted with silence. Donnie is certainly devious, using the chloroform has worked to his benefit. If he had just grabbed Willow and Abbey and left them conscious Tara would have been able to find them. He has the luck of the devil I say!

Fine do it the old-fashioned way. Primairy suspect; MaClay, Donnie. Go ask him some pointed questions. If he doesn't know, ask Beth... it's not like there are a LOT of possibilities now are there ?

I expected Tara to use the tinkerbell spell, much less troublesome. Not really sure if Tink can find Willow if she's unconsious though. (does Willow have a mobile phone on her ?)

Appears Donnie hasn't really thought all that much ahead now has he ? His grand plan probably ended after grabbing Willow and now he has no clue what to do next. Not really surpising of course, but slightly worrying. He's actually annoyed hostages need food, lol... idiot.

Now what would Donnie want... likely the will and ownership papers. Lets assume he actually gets those and Willow and Abbey are freed. How long does Donnie expect to live after that ?? He has basicly backed himself into a corner, idiots like him are dangerous in corners though. Good thing he doesn't realize his position yet.

I liked Anya's question to Brenda; "you married Donnie ? are you nuts ?" exactly my question. He likely got her pregnant so she *had* to marry him.

Still waiting for Willow to wake up, I am soooo gonna enjoy that. I honestly hope Abbey doesn't wake up before her, wouldn't be good. It would be best if Abbey just sleeps through the entire ordeal and wakes up back in the hotel, bit too wishfull thinking I'm afraid. Causing Abbey nightmare is yet another Capital Offense commited by Donnie...and he keeps on racking them up... :D

Wow, LC... you are harsh, Urn. You made LadyCallie cry. That was not nice. Still the update was very very very very nice so if you write a Crayon Breaky Willow update and make LC smile again I'll forgive you.

Okay, so I was planning on putting a little :cry in myself. What? It's scary. I'm sorry, it's just very Tara-like to get all panicky and not think about using the mobile. Actually, it's more of a Willow thing but I guess it shows how much they've rubbed off on each other! BTW I loved Anya in this update!

Oh I had two updates to read, damn sonnet paper stopped me reading fanfic for a bit. I hate that Donnie doesn't care and Willow and Abbey are all alone and cold in the cabin. Hopefully when they come round they'll be able to contact Tara in some way.

I still feel sorry for Brenda, don't leave her with Donnie...I'd like to see him all alone.

Okay, after first not being able to sleep because stupid me printed the whole fic out last night and re-read it. So then whenI finally did fall asleep, what did I dream about?!? Tara finding her girls only too late! :cry

Grimmy said- "I expected Tara to use the tinkerbell spell, much less troublesome. Not really sure if Tink can find Willow if she's unconsious though. (does Willow have a mobile phone on her ?)"

Have to comment, because you know, I spent all night brooding about every little detail (Osiris, you are a awesome writer. You didn't leave me any loose ends to make things happy! *pout*). Tara pointed to the cell phone on the table in the hotel room, which is probably the only one the girls have. Willow would need one for work, but Tara is normally at home or at the Center, so she could be reached easily. And even if there was another cell phone, Willow didn't bring anything with her when she took Abbey to the park!

Also I'm really worried about Willow, and surprisingly not too much about Abbey. It sounded like Abbey was able to snuggle close to her mom, and she'll be able to get some warmth from Willow's body heat. Will on the other hand won't be able to take much from Abbey's smaller from, and unless Abbey is a stick, Willow is the thinner one. www.peccath.com/extraflamey/wallpapers/imagepages/image72.html

And yes! I think you should do what Gem says and post a CBW part to make me feel better! *sniff*

Urn,

You might want to add a link to the first chapter of this story which actually points to "This Look of Love", code for that is:

[link=http://pub106.ezboard.com/fthekittenthewitchesandthebadwardrobe36671frm15.showMessageRange?topicID=286.topic]This Look of Love[/link]

LadyCallie, I was more thinking about tracing the location of such a cellphone. Actually *calling* someone who has been kidnapped on her cellphone somehow strikes me as a not-so-good idea :D

I'm not all that worried about hypothermia at the moment, they're indoors and it doesn't seem to be freezing outside. The picture you refer to is of a younger Willow, she's at least 7 years older in this fic (and yes, thats how I got the link above in the first place... I looked it up).

The cold might speed up the awakening even, unless they slip from sedated right into hypothermic-shock but that takes a bit more then being in an unheated building for 4 hours, thank God :) . Thats not to say they won't be cold and feeling miserable though.

After some more thinking (which I indeed do to much about this fic yes) I've come to the conclusion that although I would really LOVE for Willow to kick Donnie into oblivion it would cause to much troubles/memories for all the MaClay-Rosenbergs. He ain't worth that. So I'll grant him a nice car accident somewhere near a cliff or such, I'm too kind I know this :-).

Willow can of course still knock him out with a shovel and then run away with Abbey, heh. As we all know people who have a concusion shouldn't drive a car in pursuit, heh.... me know noooothing...

As for the current chapter; surely the scoobs have figured out by now something has happened... and who is the most likely suspect ? Buffy had her turn so lets send Anya this time, lots of experience in the field :) .

How DID this reply get so long anyway ??

I figured that. In fact I think that picture is from late Season 4 so there's what? 3 more years added. I just worry and have no life (and I'm several hundred miles away from the woman I love and I'm going a little crazy from missing her). Maybe it was jsut me, but I remember something about Willow getting cold easy. :confused

Hey all. Just popping in to answer the feedback. I noticed a bit of anxiety over the cliffyness. Hang in there.

Gem........Hey you have to keep up! I am posting in the update thread for P & P, but you'll have to keep on your toes for CBW.

Sorry you seem to find it so eeeeevil. I think chapter 21 will give you some release though :)

OH...you know I didn't mean to make her cry. :( CBW coming right up. BTW you'll REALLY love Anya in the next update.

T22.........Hang in there it'll work out soon.

CBW and the T/tongue. Well have to keep everyone smiling.

So happy you enjoyed the update. :)

Ash..........I do love the hammer dude. you're right. Loopy....check. More coming very soon.

***STOP*** Hammer time :grin ***does seriously outdated dance***

OK, back now Oh the hat worked, glad to hear that. Oh tears? :cry I'm sorry. This angst thing....I know what's coming so I forget you are over there in fan fic limbo. Hang in there. Tomorrow is coming. So is the pain. I kinda left that up in the air just enough for people to wonder about Brenda.

You fill my hammer dude needs. :grin

LC.........Heavy panting? Hyperventilation! She's not going large on me??? I'm typing as fast as I can.

***shakes head***I knew I should have taken typing. I guess it's keyboarding now. :p

"I will always find you. I will always find you." Yes it will always be true. It's the only thing she wants to do!

Evil...Nasty....mean .....Vixen? Who me? Fluff? Fluff?

Hmmmm that's what CBW is for. You really don't need to beg everything will work out. Slooooowwwwwlly.

***hands tissue*** go cry to your girl. You'll feel better.

[i
.......***Reaches up and grabs a tissue from Cal*** ***hands one to Rai*** Hope that helps. Hang in there.

Thank you, I am honored you enjoy the fic.

Lonewolf........You're welcome. It'll work out. Hang in there.

Molly.......Luck of the devil....don't worry things will work out. Just not soon, well not very soon.

Grimmy........Wow I'm so excited at the way you check out the story. Keeps me sharp. Yes he is annoyed that he had to care for the chicks. Idiot is right. I guess I got that point across. :)

Well I think only Anya could get away with that question. I really love that spark in her character.

Thanks for the link suggestion. I took care of that. There is a shovel in chapter 21 just for you.

Puff.......Papers, Oh I remember the days. I can honestly say I DO NOT miss them. I haven't given up all my writing though :whistle And as far as Donnie goes. I'll try not to disappoint.

LC......I had to do another for this one because OMG....printing and re reading. And working yourself into a jumble of sorrow. Darn now I'm not going to be able to rest. Playing on my codependence like that. Bad you. Yep that is Will's cellphone. But they are not without technology. ;)

I'm just going to sit back and let you and Grim give me story ideas. :)

BV.......Hang and Tease....Who Me? I'm just slow at the keyboard. Yea that's it.

lilc........Chapter 21 should help with the Donnie problem.

And that't the end of that. Whew, way to much going on here.

Later all!

Oh almost forgot

Dear Urn you have totally left me speechless. Ok maybe not completely, but my heart sure is right up there in my throat. You have written this story so incredibly well that I’m literally on pins and needles here. Poor Abbey and Willow. It sounds like it’s so cold out there, and lonely.

Tara, oh my, it breaks my heart to literally feel her worst fears coming true. I’m not even going to mention that BASTARD. *Takes a DEEP breath* In due time, hopefully SOON, he WILL get what he deserves. It kills me to know that after all these years he still finds a way to hurt Tara and now Her whole family. Even in Fic I don’t take Physically and verbally abusive people very lightly. *Too many bad memories* I look forward to seeing Tara and her family finally safe and sound.

On a lighter note, ABSOLUTELY loving “ Crayon Breaky Willow”

You are a great writer Thanks a lot for sharing your gift.

Glad to hear you are enjoying things. Up until now I've been calm but the other night I channeled my intense emotions over Season Severed and came up with chapter 21.

****Another Cliffhanger warning****

Also please note that this chapter comes with an "R" rating for violence.

Chapter 21

“Where are they?”

Anya stood hovering above the huddled mass, her cold steely tones ripping through the air. Her arms stretched high, grasping the splintered end of a shovel handle. Threatening a critical blow, every ounce of her blood, pounding against her flesh, screaming for justice. “Tell me where they are.”

Donnie lay cowering on the ground below her menacing form, his body writhing against the parched soil. The crotch of his pants wet with urine, smeared with the dirt, grinding a thick paste across his jeans.

With quick jerks of her arms, Anya taunted him. Each small flinch sending his body into frightened spasms. With a sharp rapid snap Anya dropped the honed edge of the shovel blade down to the ground, inches from his head.

Donnie squealed like a battered puppy. “Please…no.” He rolled onto his back forcing his hands in front of his face, chanting…begging for her to stop. Somehow hoping she would show him mercy.

“Oh, well since you said please…” She dragged the shovel point across the ground leaving a sharp slice in its wake, her eyes flexed on his squirming body. Anya balanced herself alongside the handle resting casually against it. “I just might…Not.”

Her face shifted quickly, revealing her demon form. The thick currents of flesh and blood snaked across her face. A wicked glow illuminated her body as she lifted the shovel high above her head.

Donnie screamed, “Stop…NO!”

With every ounce of energy Anya shifted her feet channeling full force into the blow. The honed edge of the shovel buried deep into the flesh of his abdomen, ripping coarsely through the skin. Anya pressed her foot upon his hip, drawing the blade from his body.

Donnie winced watching his blood spill out onto the ground.

Over and over Anya pummeled him, over and over he begged for mercy. The demon celebrated her attack basking in the glorious spatters of flesh flipping across the ground.

“I am vengeance.” Anya struck her final blow, drawing a broad satisfied smile on her face.

“Anya!” Xander’s voice snapped. “Anh…What are you doing?” He stepped in front of his wife shaking her out of her daydream. “ANYA!”

“What!…I’m standing right here. You don’t have to yell at me.”

“What were you doing?” He watched her wipe the tiny drip of saliva from the corner of her mouth, a large grin of satisfaction filling her face.

“Solving our problem.”

“Oh” He looked at her curiously. “How?”

“I think we need to do more than daydream Anya, we need to take some action.” Buffy snapped at the blonde.

“Hey, action girl. I think you’re the one that started all this.” She stepped toward the slayer poking her finger for emphasis.

Buffy turned sharply, wanting to argue her point, feeling the truth of Anya’s words rip like a jagged arrow through her heart.

“No!” Tara moved slowly toward them. “It’s not your fault Buffy. Whatever is going on, it isn’t you.” She moved offering comfort but the slayer forced her away.

“Don’t… They’re missing and I managed to piss off the only person I can think would take them.”

Brenda peered up at the slayer. “Donnie.”

Tara fought back her tears, knowing exactly what her brother could do to her lover…to her child. Trembling as the fear scrolled vividly through her mind, struggling for courage. She wanted to close her eyes and feel the love of her wife flowing through her inner sanctuary, reiterating with just one touch, that everything was okay.

“Willow,” all she wanted in the short gasping breath was to feel those soft sensual fingers rolling across her flesh. “We need to stop blaming and think.” Tara straightened her stance moving toward the table. “Right now I want to believe that my girls are together.”

“Why cant you just…ya know?” Anya shrugged at the makeshift altar. “Do the thing some more.”

“Something’s in the way. Blocking me. Some sort of spell or I don’t know what.” Tara sighed, frustration settled against the waxing panic.

“What can we do?” Xander stepped forward. “Name it and we’ll do it.” Anya agreed with a gentle nod.

“I want you to take Brenda back to her place, get her some things and bring them back here.” Tara turned toward her friend. “Just clothes and essentials. I don’t want him to think you are gone for good.”

Brenda’s heart swelled at the words. Gone for good seemed like a promise of rescue, in the middle of all this despair, her body felt its first sensation of hope. Like a fresh breath after a morning rain, her body hungered for more. In this group, somehow she knew she would make it out.

Tara turned toward Dawn. “I need you to be here for Patrick. When Brenda comes back, you’ll all stay here together. Buffy and I will find Will and Abbey.”

Buffy confirmed the plan with a nod. Xander helped Brenda off the floor leading her toward the door. Dawn carried the child into the adjoining suite watching the group move outside.

“What now?” The slayer turned toward Tara. The two found themselves alone together for the first time.

She fought hard to keep her composure, struggling against the laws of gravity. “Buffy.” Every ounce of life poured from her body as she collapsed into her embrace. “I don’t know…what am I going to do without…”

“Tara don’t.” Buffy held her tightly lowering her slowly into a chair. “You won’t have to be without them. I’ll find them. We’ll find them.”

“I’m sorry. I’m falling apart.” Tara shook her head disgusted by her lack of faith. “I need them Buffy. I need her. She’s everything to me and I… I don’t… we have to find them.”

“So where should we start?”

Tara surveyed the room taking in everything that was Willow, everything that was Abbey.

“Her science bag. Is it here?” Tara’s eyes widened as they moved through the room. Buffy tossed the linens from the bed searching for the bag.

“I don’t see it. They must have it.”

“I’m sure that they do.” Tara moved toward the case in the closet. “Here.” She handed the laptop to Buffy. “She was working on something earlier. Turn this thing on let’s see what’s here.”

The two women cleared the makeshift altar from the table, setting the laptop in its place. Tara tapped impatiently waiting for it to boot. She shuffled through the file archives searching for clues.

“Tara” The blonde witch read the file title. “She has a file for me?”

“Maybe I should…” Buffy motioned to leave. “Call me if you need anything.”

“Ok…I will.” Tara opened the file curious about the contents. Willow had created a digital scrapbook, piecing together photos and memories of their life together. Tara opened the page marked ‘destiny.’

A photograph of their hands, tightly intertwined, filled the screen. Slowly, a marquee of text scrolled below it. Tara listened to her wife’s voice echoing from the laptop speakers. “You touched my hand, and in that moment my heart knew your soul.” The picture on the screen dissolved into a thousand tiny pieces, quickly reforming into a photograph of their wedding day. Tara’s eyes filled with tears clouding the beautiful image before her. Her hand lifted slowly wiping them dry.

Willow’s voiced played again. “On this day, in this spot I am 100% certain that no person on earth has ever been loved the way I am.”

Her body shook, pounding outward, sorrow dripping from her face. Her life, her soul, reliving their sacred promises, Tara listened to Willow, remembering their wedding day.

“Every day of my life for the rest of my life I will have that love in me, your love in me. Knowing that makes me the richest woman in the world.”

Her head dropped sadly into her palms capturing the flood of tears. Tara missed the splicing of the monitor, as the words ‘family’ appeared one letter at a time. Her lover’s voice recited the word, looking up catching the site of her daughter. The bright pink flesh of her child, three days old, filled the screen.

“My mommy and my mom and I are a family.” Abbey’s enchanting voice filled the room. Tara closed her eyes, leaning into the flash of hope flooding her senses. Again the image twisted as another appeared on the screen.

An image of the Scooby gang, stacked cube by cube, constructed slowly on the monitor. Tara held her wife and daughter tightly as the gang wrapped around them.

“My family has lots of people that love us.” The tiny blonde’s voice crackled again. Tara never looked away. Her eyes locked on the picture of the slayer. She tapped the mouse freezing the photo on the screen.

“Buffy!”

The slayer slipped into the room. “What? Did you come up something?”

“Yes…I think I know how to find them.” She pointed toward the screen, directing the slayer to the item in her hand. “Do you see what you’re holding? That’s the answer.”

Now what did Buffy have in her hand on the picture ? A tree with a positioning system by any chance ???

Ya know, when Anya was first on the show she really got on my nerves and I couldn't wait for them to get rid of her. After a while she really kind of grew on me. Now she's downright hilarious and I can't wait to hear what funny thing is going to come out of her mouth next. Her daydream captured exactly what it is I love about Anya. She's blunt and honest and wants to help so badly, but she goes about it in the most interesting ways. I would love to see her bludgeon Donnie to death with a shovel. It's too bad she's not a vengeance demon anymore in this fic. I'd almost bet, though, she could still pummel him pretty good even as a human.

The family file on the computer was so sad. I almost got teary. Way to go with the observation though, Tara. Even without magic she'll find a way to get her family back. Please hurry with the rescue though. I don't know how many more visuals of Willow and Abbey unconscious in that cold and desolate place I can stand.

Very nice Urn!! Hat is still working, i didn't really have a loopy moment for this update, so thats progress, right? :D

I Loved Anya and her daydreaming act! :) I'm glad their gonna try and save Brenda and Patrick - are the scoobies gonna take them to Sunnydale with em, coz well that'd be nice bein away from Donnie and all. But maybe Donnie will go to jail for kidnapping, or possibly something more worse?! Worse is better!! :grin

Their getting somewhere and hopefully u'll let em find Will and Abbey!! But untill then... COME ON URN!!! NEED MORE!!!! :smash :smash :smash

Willow: We can come by between classes. Usually I use that time to copy over my class notes with a system of different colored pens. But it's been pointed out to me that that's, you know... insane.

Tara: I said quirky.

Anya's daydream shows how much she cares about Tara's girls, in her own very disturbed way. Although I enjoyed it also, what does that say about me? Oh yes, that I hate Donnie.

So glad that Buffy is there to help Tara. The poor love, it must have been rough on her seeing the contents of Willow's laptop. That sounded so typical of Willow by the way.

Am so pleased Tara has a plan!

Oh, maybe my brilliant idea wasn't so brilliant. CBW just gets better and better! So does P&P. :grin

Glad you made LC stop crying. And teacher, I promise I will keep up with the updates from now on. :p :grin

The description of Tara's pain and inner feelings was absolutely touching. :cry

Poor Brenda, hoping against hope to leave Donnie forever.

Donnie? :smash :smash

We know there will be more soon *crosses arms and prepares to wait*

Urn of Osiris: Great update, I REALLY, really hope that whatever plan Tara has works, PLEASE, please let her find Willow and Abbey. I really liked the digital scrapbook, it was very sweet and touching. Anya daydreaming about being a demon again was cool. I can't wait to read more.

Gosh, I love me some Anya! I'm much calmer today and holding on tight waiting for the rest of icky stuff to come before the good stuff happens. I can be patient... Well, not really but I still have a headache from all the wailing and carrying on I've been doing... *grin*

Can't wait for more!
