Whoa! Boy howdy, too much stimulation with the crazy reply page.
Sites I visit a lot:
www.google.com (indispensable of course)
www.msnbc.comwww.astrologyzone.com (love the monthly horoscopes)
www.thenewrepublic.com (op-ed US political stuff)
www.sugarquill.net (Harry Potter fanfiction and discussion)
www.eonline.com (addicted to The Awful Truth gossip column)
www.pogo.com (timewasting addictive &!^%$ games)
Sites I hope to visit a lot less in the near future:
www.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/PubMed (the National Library of Medicine database -- thank God the dissertation's done)
biospace.net (job hunting for scientists)
But mostly right now I'm scouring lawn care websites re. how to fix my tiny lawn in the back yard. While I was in NC, the husband did actually manage to clean up the, uh, solid dog waste, but he didn't "water" in the liquids. Result: brown dead spots. Then he puts Miracle Gro Lawn Food on to "help the brown spots". Result: lawn almost completely dead from nitrogen overload. Husband's (lame) defense: "It was a pain in the a$$ and I didn't realize it would make such a difference." Nothing for it but to water, water, water to leach the nitrogen, and then reseed. And WALK THE DOGS from now on... Argh... sorry for the rant but sometimes it's tough living with an (occasionally lazy) vet!
